How are you? As always.... I'm a busy bee: family, work... so, you know that soon we'll be in Germany again?
But it's not the topic of today.
Trying steal some famiy recepe, not long ago, I came across in a “Bomb” that you definetely have to try.
SAUSAGES AND BEANS
Sausages and beans is one of the most characteristic dish of the tuscan cuisine, simple ingredients but so tasty and nutrient.
This recipe so rustic and savory reminds those dishes so hearty and rich which the secret was the genuinity of tastes and an easy preparation.
This succulent plate is perfect in those moments we need a charge of energy and taste!
The intense smell and the creamy sauce calls an indispensable “scarpetta” (scarpetta= act to dip the bread in the sauce at last) with a crispyslice of bread, makes Sausages and Beans a special plate... in a perfect Tuscan style!

Time of Preparing: 10 minutes
Time of Cooking: 25 minutes
Recepe for 4 people.
· BEANS (already boiled) 2,5 kg
· SAUSAGES #15
· GARLIC 3 cloves
· SAGE 10 leaves
· EXTRA VERGIN OLIVE OIL
· PEELED TOMATOES 1 kg
· RED PEPPER
· SOME STICKS OF ROSEMARY
THE WAY TO PREPARE SAUSAGES AND BEANS:
Put oil, garlic, and sage in a saucepan for 3-4 minutes and turn golden them. Add sausages, brown them just 3 or 4 minutes and sometimes stir to not burn the bottom.
Regulate salt and pepper, add the peeled tomatoes, cook for 10 minutes on a low heat and then, pour the beans to the sauce keep cooking 7-8 minutes more, to let the ingredients amalgamate as well with a wood ladle.
Check salt and pepper.
Add a bit of red pepper.
So now, your plate of Sausages and Beans is ready, you have just to serve it!
Sausages and beans can be conserved in the fridge for up two days, just heat it before serving!
You can also frezeed if you have used fresh ingredients.
Slice of bread, a bit of fresh oil and a stick of rosemary to decore.
